Abstract lines and shapes: birch branches covered in lichen, slightly away from the beaten track at the Birks of Aberfeldy.
Aperture was chosen carefully to retain plenty of sharpness in the foreground whilst letting trees in the mid-distance recede in the blur.
Additionally, shooting at the cusp of dusk allowed for subtle light-painting with an LED torch to lift the foreground, especially the front-right tree.
