A tremendous display - it lasted long, multiple hours as I drove from up in the Highlands back down toward home. At one point, the auroral arc was so far south, red was visible south of the zenith. Fortunately, in the second or third showing of the evening, the clouds had reduced and the full colours of the display showed through.
