Even before dark fell fully, I saw a couple of red alert notifications for the aurora, strolled round the corner to my usual viewing place and saw hints of a ray on an ipHone test shot. Very quickly I was back home, in the car, down the road to the Frandy Tree where I met another photographer with similar ideas...
