Beautiful golden yellow morning light through a sea of turning yellow birch tree leaves. I'd already spent the morning along the road at my Nice Place(TM) but had to stop and photograph these on the way back.
A slightly rakish choice of composition - I wouldn't normally split the frame in half so obviously, but in some ways I find the central dark tree-trunk almost disappears against the lighter background.
