Highland Boundary Fault, Rosneath / Camsail
My explorations continued out west to Argyll, tracking the line of the HBF as it runs from Dunoon up through Kilcreggan to Camsail here and Helensburgh to the east.
Another abstract bird's-eye straight-down aerial perspective, the texture of tree foliage contrasting with the smoothness of sand on the bed of Gare Loch.
The fault line runs from near top-centre of the frame, down through the trees and out by the sharp straight slightly diagonal line where bright sand meets dark rock on the left third of the frame.
