Spooky Beech, Glen Lyon
I remembered this avenue of beech trees on a path through Glen Lyon from a year ago; being in the area again recently, it woudl've been rude not to make another photo of the line of trees leading toward the obvious characterful spooky tree at the end waving its branches about by night.
Quite a lot of source data and work was involved in this.
A total of 8 frames, using pixel-shift to fire two bursts of 4 30-second exposures, one concentrating on illuminating the primary subject and one sequence illuminating the two to the right. With suitable weighted blending, a balance between the two exposures could be controlled accurately.
