Suilven: The Night Before
I've had this image sitting ready to publish for a couple of years and never quite got around to it.
Taken late on a November evening up in Assynt, showing a friend where the obvious viewpoint across the Assynt & Coigeach mountains is.
The first time I saw this view it was glorious and clear. I've not forgotten the car screeching to a stop and hopping out to take a photo, it was so wonderful.
This particular evening, it was as far from conventionally glorious as it could be, super atmospheric with clouds and drizzle blowing across the distant landscape.
And I still love that view.
